Details

The application has been published early so that organisations can view the content of the stage 2 application and prepare themselves should they be required to take part in the stage 2 application process. Confirmation letters for stage 1 will be issued from the department by the 28 February.

The £50 million capital funding is to improve care environments to help people with dementia and their carers manage their condition better. Details of the funding were first outlined on the 25 October 2012 by Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt.

The stage 2 application should be completed and submitted to DH by 17:00 on 30 April 2013 by email to DementiaCapital@dh.gsi.gov.uk. Bids received after this deadline will not be considered.
