On the agenda: Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health, announces a series of reforms that will provide greater financial support for the elderly and those with disabilities and long-term conditions in paying for their care costs. Also this week, people across England can now sign up for sessions to become a Dementia Friend. Meanwhile, the Local Authority (public health, health and wellbeing boards and health scrutiny) Regulations 2013 have now  been published.
