Professor Sue Hill OBE is the Chief Scientific Officer, the head of profession for the 50,000 healthcare science workforce in the NHS and associated bodies – embracing more than 45 separate scientific specialisms.Sue Hill

Sue has a broad portfolio of policy responsibilities across diagnostics and scientific services and also carries out a number of wider cross-cutting roles. These include being National Director for the Audiology and Physiological Diagnostics Programme, DH Science and Society champion and joint National Clinical Director for Respiratory Disease.
